OEM Ambient lighting on a Tradesman

Mine is a 22’ level 2. The wires were in mine for the footwell/courtesy lights. I installed the footwell LEDs and it looks like daylight when you open the doors.
Where did you find the footwell lights? Amazon or eBay?

Wow, wish I would’ve known this 2 years ago. Could’ve sworn I read it wasn’t plug and play. Sure enough they plugged in and worked instantly

Hoping to get some intel here. I just installed some 4th gen Laramie doors on my 2022 Tradesman. Fit like a glove. I couldn’t stand the hard plastic armrests so after 2 years of ownership, feeling a little fancy, I decided to splurge on EBay and purchase 4th gen Laramie door panels .. they look great!

Completely changes the look and feel of the truck. Pinky’s up!!

The door panels are wired for OEM ambient lighting.. my quest to to find a way to get them tied into the courtesy lights since i don’t have a separate ambient light dimmer switch.. can anyone point me in the right direction? @Jimmy07 ? I’d really like to get these things wired up.. please and thanks in advance

Good luck, and post about your experience. I'm planning on similar stuff down the line...

I also put the light in the lower glove box. I did change the bulb to an LED also. I put some footwell lights in also that come on with the headlights. I used some small red LEDs and wired them into the cab light wire where it ran up through the dash on the right side. They just give a soft red glow and you have to look under the dash to actually see them.
