Morning guys,

So for a while now when the truck flexes or I take a left hand turn with a bump or any sort of non flat surface I hear this binding noise from under my feet only on the left hand side of the truck. Haven't had to change the crawl under and dig in. 2020 RAM 3500 crew cab single rears, 6.4.

I've had a couple people tell me it could be body mounts but there's more of me that says it's a suspension issue.

Anybody have any thoughts?

Could be a rubber bushing on the sway bar or control arm? Very tough to diagnose over the www.

More than likely body mounts. My 2020 did the same thing and I believe there is a service bulletin/recall on those but I can't confirm.
My 2021 3500 doesn't do it

My 2020 does the same thing, on both sides. The suspension components are all tight, operating correctly. It's most likely the body mounts. I'm actually going get the truck scheduled for service this week.

Body mounts. My neighbor has a 2020 doing the same thing. We compared trucks and the body mounts are totally different and there is a service bulletin for this.

Solved as everyone basically stated. Torqued all mounts to 90 foot pounds. All good, thanks for the help!
It's good that the torque fixed it... Though you should know it's temporary. I'd recommend getting them replaced per the tsb. The new ones are a completely different design. This is stated 100% from what I went through with mine. Post tsb parts.. Zero issues
