Occasional Buzz From 8.4 Console

I have been getting an occasional loud buzz/electronic hum through the speakers of my 22 Ram on startup. I will shut it all down and restart, and it functions normally until I shut it down. After turning the engine off the radio would shut down when I opened the door, but now it stays on until it times out or I turn it off manually. It's also failing to install the latest over the air software update. Any thoughts on what the problem or solution might be? TIA.

I also have a random buzz from radio on startup, none of the radio buttons work including the on/off. The radio will turn off on its own and then go through a restart, and will work fine. I recently took the truck to the dealer to repair a transfer case oil leak on the rear output shaft. When it was there a recall for ABS control module was installed, and since then it hasn't buzzed. The update was installed 3 weeks ago. Customer Satisfaction notification 1 55B.

Last week the radio buzzed again and turned off and then restarted. So the recall didn't solve the problem completely, but it has reduced the number of times it has happened.
