What is difference between lx and mx other than apple. I am going to buy a lx cause its $40 cheaper, it will still work with alphaodb according to site, am i wrong? Buying bypass cable also shortly just want to make sure i aint missing something. Thanks in advance guys!

It's been a few years since I bought the original MX (not the MX+), but at the time the major difference between the MX and LX (beyond Apple support) was in the number of different manufacturers supported. MX included expanded support for Ford, GM, etc...
