No steering wheel audio controls

Hello All,
Glad to be here. Love my 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman. My 1 issue that I can't understand how they don't include steering wheel audio controls, not only for convenience but for safety. I asked the dealer if anything could be done and they told me nothing could be done, which I find hard to believe.
Has anyone had any luck adding the controls and steering wheel? They told me I would probably need another wire harness as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
