Night theme/Dark Mode for bottom half of screen

When using Apple CarPlay, I have it set to the screen split as you can see. During night hours, the top half of the screen goes into Dark Mode fine but the bottom stays white/Day Mode. I can't find any place in the menu to adjust this and that white screen is blinding while driving at night. I can go into settings and lower the brightness of the entire display of course but that doesn't really help matters because then it makes it difficult to see the map and the white portion still is a problem. Can anyone advise if there is a way to rectify this?IMG_3552D.jpeg

What about using dark mode on the phone. Hopefully it translates Apple car..

Im shooting from the hip here because I cant remember specifically but I think there is a day/night mode for the entire screen that you can set to automatically switch based on time of day/daylight. I think when it goes to night mode it switches the theme dark. Not positive but worth exploring.

This is what i have seen aswell

I know for sure that there is a dark/light mode in the settings menu, maybe under themes. I should know the steps because I've done several factory resets after glitches, going into dark mode is the first thing I do, don't like the light mode.

The apple part is dark its the UC5 that is white…
That’s it, you’re right on. Now, how to fix the UC5. The day/night just seems to make it bright/less bright but I’d rather make the night version NOT white in color.

What do you have these two settings set to?
What software build number are you on in version information?

These are the two settings I was referring to. I have mine on Auto on both and it goes dark when dark, light when light.

Also, check the setting of display brightness dial on the left of the steering wheel. When this is set all the way up, it appears to override settings in uconnect.

Just wanted to thankyou for posting this pic. I've had my new 2023 Ram 3500 for over a month now and have taken pretty much all that time trying to figure out how to get my Nav screen out of constant 'nite mode'. It was the theme mode setting all along.
