Since I'm new to the Cummins / Mopar world, what do you guys use for filters? OEM or aftermarket? For 20+ years I have used Baldwin Filters on almost everything, diesel and gas, with the exception of oil filters on my '00 PSD, there I used K&N.

Where I live, sometimes things are not readily available so I'm one of those who likes to keep a full set of filters on a shelf in my shop, just in case.

Thoughts?

I have always used fleet guard filters. I order a bulk amount and like you online to have them on the shelves. The standard oil filter is LF16035 or you can use LF9028. It is a full flow plus a bypass filter built into one.

Thanks, I have used Fleetguard a couple of times myself. Friends with the local Baldwin dealer, guess that's why I have generally stuck with them.

Mopar filters here till warranty is up then maybe FGs. Genos Garage was where I ordered from. Love their locking gas cap! There's a neat lil screw on plug that attaches to the filter canister and greatly reduces the mess. Might be worth a look if you haven't already come across it.
