Hello everyone and WOW! What a POS! My sincere condolences to those who suffered. I bought a brand new 1500 LongHorn HEMI back in 2014 that has been nothing but pleasure and was about to upgrade to this robust Cummins inline 6, with a wonderful interior of a 2500 Megacab Limited before I stumbled on this thread.
I come from the world of 80s and 90s Benz motors, 1HD/1HZ Toyota motors and TD42/TD42T Nissan motors, so even a remote possibility of buying a flowed lemon is sending shivers down the spine. I would bet money that Denso used in GM is a superior system. Combined with a robust pushrod design it will make a good package, but I would not be able to wake up with a smile to those looks of a new Chevy or GMC )
Here Is where I am at. I want to get a nice toy hauler camper and enjoy touring our wonderful country with my kids and wife having an ABSOLUTE confidence in my truck.
what to look at when buying a used 2500 or 3500? How to spot that if its is got air suspension or not?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Tony.
