Hi all! Hope everyone’s holidays were epic! I just bought a 2024 Ram 3500 Laramie, with a Cummings HO Diesel. Nite, this is my first diesel pickup truck and I’m hoping for years of enjoyment.

One quick question, fuel additive. I understand that I may need to add some fuel additive at each fill up? Let me know what you guys think, and hope everyone’s new year is blessed

I've never used a fuel additive in any of my Ram/Cummins trucks. And I'm on my 5th one in the last 24 yrs

Those of us in the colder climates need to add anti gel to #2 fuel this time of year. Congrats on the new truck. Pictures?

You may want to look at Archoil . Mainly for the reason of helping to keep your DPF functioning properly . If you live in a cold climate you may think about adding an anti gel . That fuel filter below the bed of your truck gets zero radiated engine heat . Passed many a semi on the road jelled up waiting for a wrecker to tow the truck to a shop . You can hope the fuel distribution put enough additive in or you can spend a little to save a lot of pain and money from being jelled up .
