Bought a new '24 Dually a month and a half ago while traveling through Atlanta. On the way back to Minnesota I noticed some tire vibrations and brought it to my local dealer. Truck had about 1500 miles at that point. They found 3 Nexen tires that they were unable to balance within specs and submitted warranty claims with RAM. That was back on April 8th. I've check back with the dealer multiple times, but they said its still waiting some kind of final approval. Is there something different about tire warranty's vs other parts?

They have to go through the tire manufacturer, so it may be a little different. Shouldn't take that long, I would be a little more aggressive with them.

I went through this and it was a pain. Not much support from my dealership so I went directly to the tire manufacturer. Since I had some miles on the tires by then they wanted me to pay a prorated charge for the wear on the tires. Needless to say I'll never buy a set of Bridgestones

Thanks...just left another voice mail with the Service Manager pushing (respectfully) a little harder.
The dealer called me back today and let me know that the tires would be in Wednesday and set up an appointment for me. Sounded like there was some kind of snag in ordering warranty tires. Although this took longer than I thought, I've gone to these guys for years servicing my trucks and have had a very good experience.
