Just had my 2019 2500 diesel towed by AAA to a service station due to transmission issues. Report back from station, truck needs a new transmission - codes thrown P0944, P0876, P0868, P0841, P0732, P0731 all dealing with Powertrain. My question to everyone: I service the vehicle as per the maintenance manual and only tow a trailer (10,995 GVWR) a few times per year, so how can a low mileage truck need a transmission just after the warranty period ends? One time I worked the transmission hard and received a high temp code but that was about 1 yr ago but majority of trailer towing has been the freeway. Thoughts are appreciated.

New Transmission at 5.5 yrs and 65K miles - outside Powertrain warranty

The code will clear when the temps return to normal, but that doesn’t mean the fluid wasn’t cooked and trashed.
