I’m on my 4th Ram.
1986 3/4 ton club cab.
1992 3/4 club cab 12 valve Cummins, I put 515,000 K on it.
2001 1 ton quad cab deuly HO 24 valve Cummins, I put 300,000 K on it (sold it because I didn’t need the deuly anymore)
Currently own a 2011 1500 bighorn crew cab.
I’m looking to got into a new truck soon.
Looking at a 2019 3/4 crew 6.4 motor (I don’t want a diesel) or mega cab not sure what way to go.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good intel here that could help your decision making process. And assuming your 11 BigHorn is Hemi powered, ya might want to lose it before it eats the cam.

To late it already ate the cam last September at 174,000 kms (I'm from Alberta, Canada) cost me $6,800 to rebuild the motor, truck is only worth $10,000

I hang me hat in Oilberta too and feel your pain. My 09 ate the cam last spring @ 141K kms. I opted to replace the engine cuz I'd had so much prior grief with it. Problem with that plan was... we couldn't get an engine! Dealer couldn't figure it out. I figured it out! Sold her down the road for a big loss...
