New to big trucks!

I just put in the order for a RAM 3500 Limited MegaCab short bed with DRW, 4.10 axle, HO diesel, 5th Wheel prep group, and cameras too numerous to mention. We are planning to start full timing with a Grand Design 5th wheel at 43' and 18,000 GVWR. Our first thought was a Crew Cab long bed SRW but after reading all of the great discussions on this and the Grand Design forum, we threw that thought out the window. We would have been cutting it too fine on payload and I am looking forward to the stability and peace of mind from the DRW. Thanks to all for the great purchasing decision info.

By the way, it blew me away that the handle "Dodgeman" was still available! That was purely a "What the heck, let's give it a shot" try on my part. Driving Chrysler products since 1965.

Make sure you buy a sliding hitch.

I just ordered a Pullrite 2315. Sort of the cart before the horse. I'll have the hitch before I get the truck.
