I had 295/65/20 Ridge Grapplers before but I only got a little over 34k miles out of them and they were down to the wear bars. In heavy rain, they were getting sketchy so I decided to get new tires. Well, I was wanting some Toyo AT IIIs but the tire shortage stopped that. So I got the Terra Grapplers in the same 295/65/20 size. It seems these are not as stable driving down the interstate at speed and seems all over the place. I never had that with the Ridge Grapplers. I ran them at 65psi as I do tow off and on. I have these set at 65psi as well. Truck tracks straight with both sets. Any ideas?

They seem to have a higher load index than the OEM tires which would mean a lower psi value running unloaded.
If you go by OEM and use the Tire Pressure Calculator it should be 53 front and 59 rear (I'd split it 50/60psi).

They also seem to have 17/32 tread, from what I've read, sometimes takes a bit to 'settle down' due to so much tread (that was for other tires and not necessarily this one).
I've seen nothing but positive reviews on this tires... interested to see what you find out about the tires as I'm considering the Terra G2 as a replacement one the OEM die...

Do you have a lift/level or anything?

No lift or level and using stock rims too, I will try lowering down the pressure some. I know even when the Ridge Grapplers were new, no issues.

Terra Grappler G2, 35x12.50R18LT F 128R†† on my 2500, I love the ride, I do have Thuren sway bar, which made a huge difference in ride and I do ride with lower PSI. As of today in SoCal I have it 45F 40R.
Since new to forum, I do have aftermarket rims and I used ProCal Snap to adjust for tire size are PSI. hope that helps.

One point I would say though, I did notice higher speed (80mph) sweeping turns felt like I was leaning more (right mostly) for the first 500-600 miles. It then went away so I put it down to tires settling and breaking off the "new tire" layer..

Thanks all for the advice, I lowered the pressure and the tires now have about 1000 miles on them. The looseness on the interstate is almost completely gone.

Good to hear... an update in a couple of thousand miles would be great.
