New michelin platinum tires

Michelin Defender LTX Platinum

Seen Michelin came out with this new tire. The old Defender LTX has always been a phenomenal tire but never looks great. I’m not even sure this new one will look any better. But, was curious if any of you guys are running it?

Love them so far! It was raining yesterday and the firestones with 30k miles wouldn’t stop spinning out. Can’t hardly make these spin out and ride so much more smoothly! I went with the bigger 295/65R20 on stock rims. Kind of miss having some chrome or stainless color on the rims, but other than that, loving it all.

Do you get any rubbing with the bigger tires? Do you have a lift/ leveling kit or is it stock?

I put them on my wife’s Jeep Grand Wagoneer. After having multiple sets of the last generation of defender ltx I must say I am severely disappointed in the new platinum series. They ride worse, don’t look as good and are noisier. Noticeably noisy.

I am shocked tbh, they are louder than the stock Transforce tires our trucks come with.
