So I've been lurking around here for a bit since buying my 2024 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the Power Wagon package and a few other goodies added and I thought it was time to actually introduce myself.
I bought my truck in April and have been loving it so far! As you know the Tradesman is pretty bare bones, but that's exactly what I wanted with a few exceptions of things I really wanted to add, and this forum has already been super helpful with that! So far I've added a steering wheel with radio controls, a flow master FX cat-back, some Go Rhino side steps, a work sport AL4 bed cover and a remote start and remote tailgate from infotainment using Jscan. That last one was really made a lot easier with the info here already, so thank you all! I've got a few other projects already planned, pretty minor stuff but I think it will really add to the truck.
This is my first new vehicle in over 20 years now, I'm usually driving or working on my '74 Duster (Demon clone) and some other classic Mopar muscle cars. So I'm no stranger to turning wrenches, although adding the electronics aspect into it is a little newer for me.
Anyway, just wanted to say "hi", I'll probably start a build thread on my truck just to keep track of things and hopefully help out anyone else that wants to do similar modifications.
