Newbie here from Canada....Great site with lots of excellent information. I am about to pull the trigger on a new Ram 2500. Need to buy sooner rather than later so that means my options are some what limited. Trying to decide between a new 2024 Limited 6.7 or a 2025 Rebel 6.7l. I am concerned about the harsher ride of the Rebel as about 65% of my driving is empty/no trailer. I haven't driven the Rebel yet, will do that soon.
When it comes to purchasing, looks matter to me and thats why i have it narrowed down to those two trucks primarily.

Welcome to the forum. I’m not sure what you’re asking but Without knowing the specs of each I vote Rebel

Not really asking, more so thinking out loud lol. The reason I haven't put my name on the Rebel yet is I am concerned that the ride will be a lot harsher in it then in a Limited. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that?

Pretty sure there’s no difference in suspension between a Rebel and non-Rebel 2500.

Now if the non-Rebel truck is equipped with the optional rear air suspension that could change things. Some folks say air suspension trucks ride smoother than coil spring 2500’s.

@jsalbre would know better than me

The Rebel has the pretty much the same suspension as the other 2500s with the off-road package (which is basically just Bilstein 4600 shocks).

There are some minor differences indicated by some different part numbers, but no one has been able to actually figure out the difference, and the trucks feel close enough to be effectively identical.

Ok, thank you everyone for your responses. Now i am leaning heavily towards the Rebel. Will hopefully get some seat time in one very soon.
