So, two days ago I bought my 1st Ram. It wasn't what I had planned on doing that day. I had a 2022 F350 Crew cab long bed. It was a truck I ordered last September and received in December. Had the 7.3. Any, the truck towed well, but there were things I didn't love about it. Took it in for a driveshaft vibration on Thursday, mechanic confirmed that it needed a shaft, dealer said ford would send one over night and I'd have it Friday morning, good thing cause we were do to leave Saturday morning for Acadia national park, about a 400 mile drive towing our camper. When I got to the dealership Friday morning, the service writer informed me that they had received an axleshaft instead of a driveshaft! Vacation didn't look good. They couldn't even give me a loaner, no trucks on the lot. So, in a fit of frustration, I went down the road and traded the 350 for a 21 Ram 2500. It's a 6.4, Bighorn package, midnight edition. It has an AEV 3 inch lift and 37s. The truck is well warrantied and it covers the aftermarket stuff. So, Vacation was saved. I'm on Mt Desert Island right now with the family. The Ram towed really well, even with the 37s. I love the 8sp, it's way smooth. I've been a Ford guy for a long time, but I am really liking this truck. I'm going to probably have some questions for the other members here, as I don't know much about these rigs, like is there anything I should look out for? Thanks in advance for any advice.
