Good day,
I Just purchased a 2024 Ram 3500 Bighorn Night Edition with a 6.7 Cummins and 68RFE.
Finally decided to update my great old 98.5 -- 5.9.
Chose the 68FRE over the HO.
HO seemed like I had my foot in it more than RFE.
No slam, really wanted the HO, but my trusted mechanic friend talked me toward RFE for my pulling style.. Says he can make the trans live..Time will tell.
I don't pull more than 12 - 14 k#.

I'm on several other toy forums and joined here to learn from you all about modern Cummins and Rams.
Thanks in advance.
Just an old Dirtstiff

Congratulations, awesome truck. I have a '21 long bed SRW with the same engine/tranny combo with 56K miles. I pull a 16.5K 5th wheel with zero issues. Here in the east coast, read flat country, I get between 10-11 mpg pulling the camper and 20-21 highway not pulling and depending on my foot and how heavy it is that day
