Just a guess, but does your truck have electric tailgate latches that lock and unlock with the door locks? If not, it might be for that purpose. I have a 2021 Big Horn version that has the electric latches. I'll take a look under and see what I've got and let you know.
Thanks for the reply. Mine does have the electric tailgate lock already. I cam across this when looking around for possible factory harnesses for different options. I was planning to add bed lights, but the install without the factory harness looks like a beast; especially since I just installed the rear wheel well liners before I thought about the bed lights. SMH my truck is a Tradesman, but had some options added above the Tradesman level. Mine was a service department loaner and had 4k miles on it when I bought it. So, been trying to add some upgrades ever since.
