New to this forum, member on the Dodge forum. I signed up here hoping it sees more action than the Dodge forum. Bought a 2022 2500 6.4 4x4 after my 05 2500 5.7 rotted out (northern truck.) It had the NV4500 in it. Since nobody offers a straight drive 3/4 or 1 ton anymore in here to find out if it is possible to convert my 2022 too a straight drive. The provisions are there for The clutch in the firewall, and the floor for the shifter. I will search before starting another thread. The hardware is no problem, it’s the software I’m more interested in. Such as can you simply turn off the transmission module in the ECM, so it doesn’t see it and there for won’t throw any codes or brick the ECM/VCM/PCM.
