Hello all, Im new to this Forum, however I have been in the truck game for a long time. I started modding Hemi’s and was one of the first to install a different cam in them back when the 6.1 cam was a nice upgrade to the 5.7’s.

Anyway, I’m trading in my 2018 2500 Bug Horn CCSB for a 2019 3500 Laramie Mega cab High Output. My 2018 has 35k miles on her. And if it wasn’t for the great deals I would be keeping it. Looking forward to the new rig though. Can’t wait until we can start seeing aftermarket stuff for them. Lookin to build a 600-650whp rig. But it’s going to need a bit more than a tune to get there.

looking forward hopefully helping and asking questions here.

Welcome.

Hope someone besides revmax starts building the Aisin? I don't think anyone has a tune for them, just tuning around the TCM as is.

Thanks.

Yeah I’m not too worried about the trans tuning just yet. This new rig will be my first with this trans I want to feel it out for a while before I even consider a tune. And want to get to at least 10k miles before I do much to it.It’s strange to not see a sea of performance parts available. When I got my 18 it was crazy what was available (but that generation was almost 10 years old)

ooh well can’t wait to pick up the truck on Friday. I’ll get pics up once I get home Sat night. (The truck is 450 miles away)

Most guys that want to tune and go fast are getting the SO and 68RFE. There's just no tuning available for the Aisin.

As expected, I think it shifts like a damn bus, and the 1st gear is really low and slow.

If I was using it as a daily driver with a lower tow weight, I'd probably have gotten the 68RFE.

The guy Matt in canada is the goto engine tuner these days if you can dump all the "stuff.". Amazing coder. Watch your back...
