New Grand Design 324MBS too much for 2500?

Looking at the new 324MBS. It's UVW is 10,864 so likely at 12,500 GVWR. Total length is 37.0 feet. Too much for a 2500 with a 6.4 gasser and 4.10 rear end? I know that there is enough power to pull it, but concerned it may not control the weight enough. Current trailer is only 8.5K GVWR and have no experience with this much weight. Anyone have any experience pulling something of that size with the 2500 gasser? Thanks

How was the outcome of your purchase of the grand design. Have f250 with similar payload numbers. Do you happen to know the actual loaded pin weight and not the advertised?

I once got "pushed" going down the grade from Stovepipe Wells to Panamint Springs in Death Valley. Had just started learning to tow a toyhauler with a 2008 CTD. I started the downgrade too fast, but learned a valuable lesson:

"It is better to be able to be the slowest guy going down a hill than the fastest one up the hill."
