So my truck was feeling a little old at 419,000 miles. Just replaced the tie rod bar about 5,000 miles ago and the water pump 3,000 miles ago. Coils were feeling a little soft so I did some research about replacing them. Kelderman air suspension was obviously my most favored option. Just couldn’t justify $3000 for a work truck. Sure would have been nice. Factory replacements would have cost about $1000 for all four. Local salvage yard had same year truck with 98,000 miles involved in front end collision with the suspension intact. So I bought all four coils for $250. Rears are the exact same part number, fronts are one number off. Installed them in about two hours. Truck feels new and capable again, handles so much better. These should make it til the odometer reads 621,000 miles and stops counting at which time the truck will be for sale.
