Just got my new ARE cap thanks to the folks over at Camp-Out in Las Vegas. I went in a couple of months ago with no intentions of buying anything but only looking for a used cap to have painted. These guys gave me a deal a couldn’t refuse with little money down. I plan on doing a small overland style interior build. Im a property insurance adjuster so I also wanted something to crash in when driving across country for storm work. Progress pics of the build out soon to come!

Looks great! Love that color too. What are you running for wheels/tires?

My 6-year-old helped me build a quick futon bed in a weekends time. Roughly $500 in materials might add a file cabinet style drawer for an outdoor kitchen under bed and maybe a small shelf on passenger wheel well side. Got a couple more blankets to make curtains for the rest of the windows.

Materials add up fast, don't they? Nice outcome though!
Finished interiors don't work with the way I use my truck bed, but if I had two trucks one of them would definitely be fitted out.

I put down 2 large pieces of 5/8 plywood and built it to where i could take everything out within an hour if I had to. The truck came with a gooseneck hitch that I never used. Being an insurance adjuster I will definitely get more use out of having a place to sleep.

I love it!

how much did they charge you, and how long did they take to deliver? I am in Vegas too, new truck should be here in a few weeks, and I am going to buy a cap right away as well.

I ordered late November and in came in first week of February bc they get built in Colorado. I paid 3300 and some change. I paid the first 3hundo and change down. Then a grand the day they installed it and they offered me a payment plan for 100$/week till I paid off. I paid off early. Literally was gnna buy a used one but all were 1500-2500 used then would have needed to get painted. So these guys definitely made it hard to pass.

that isnt a bad payment plan at all. I paid almost $4k for the cap on my Tundra, so $3300 ish isnt bad. The only thing I would have gotten more than the one you have is a carpeted roof, but that will only add on a couple hundred bucks. I will have to go check them out once the truck arrives.

thanks!
