new AAM 9.25 design

Tore down the front end on my AAM 9.25 to install a front locker and after removing the carrier bearing caps, it looks like AAM no longer uses the screw adjustable bearing caps to adjust bearing preload and backlash. I haven't ben able to get the carrier out yet so it's hard to sell if they are using shims under the bearing or how they are adjusting backlash. Does anyone have any details on when AAM changed the 9.25 and what they changed exactly?

It's probably a '25 model year change, those adjusters were one of the best features of the AAM axles imo

100% the best feature. very frustrating it has been removed. I hope the carrier hasn't changed or my locker wont fit.
