New 2024. Rainsensitve wipers don't seem to work?

Just rained on me and nothing happened. Got it activated in Uconnect, so it's "on". Any hints?

Besides having it on in the UConnect, you need to have your stick control one click on, basically the lowest intermintant setting.

Yeah, I saw some posts elsewhere about that. That's just stupid. Doesn't that cause the intermittent wipers to come on......or is having the rain sensitives wipers set override the first stick control click?

When auto wipers are enabled in the radio the Intermittent setting adjusts how sensitive the wipers are to rain on the windshield, closer to off=less sensitive, closer to low speed=more sensitive

Interesting, I guess. I'm just used to other vehicles that have had this feature. It was typically a setting, and then you did nothing else. Fully automatic with no sensitivity. I'll check it out.

My Mercedes was like that. Honestly I prefer the system in the Ram so I can turn the wipers off completely with the stalk. On the Mercedes the sensor was always on, so I'd get random wipes all the time. That was annoying.
