New 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn owner

Hey everyone, Ray here.

I just purchased a 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn with the 6.7 Cummins. I have been searching all over the country to find the exact truck I wanted. I figure you spend $70k+ you should get what you want.

I live in NC, picking the truck up in Paducah, Ky and driving home.

I‘ve read all the info about “break-in”. I am headed to Chicago for Christmas with temps below freezing before heading to NC. Any recommendations or consideration for cold weather or is 12-28 degree F not that big of an issue?

Also, have the 6’4” bed with Rambox. Looking for a rigid trifold tonneau cover. I have researched the Undercover, Lomax, and the Bakflip. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. How “waterproof“ are they?

I can't help you with your questions but that's a really nice truck. I really love the black and tan longhorn interior but that mountain brown interior on yours really complements the walnut brown exterior.
