Looking for tire recommendations for Ram 3500 SRW - mostly on highway with some dirt roads but no real "off road" - going to stay with stock LT275/70R18E and probably Michelin. There seem to be 3 Michelin options Defender LTX M/S, LTX A/T2, and Agilis CrossClimate - Would appreciate info on anyone using these, particularly the newest Agilis CrossClimate - in pictures it does not look like a truck tire, but it is Load Range E

Help anyone

I have had both the ltx m/s and the ltx a/t2
I found the M/S to be better the AT2 just seemed to plug up and spin, idealy if you want any kind of A/T tire you want anything other than Michelin as they are more of a highway tire….

Do you need a 3PMSF tire?

The Agilis doesn't seem to carry good reviews.

I think there are better options, all of which have been covered in countless threads here, if you need an all-season tire.

I've been so far very pleased with the Falkens and they don't pick up/fling rocks on dirt roads like BFG's do. I'll never buy another BFG for sure for that and many other reasons.

Checking Tirerack, I see the following 3PMSF tires besides the Falkens I'd consider and have been discussed here.

COOPER DISCOVERER AT3 XLT
YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR A/T G015
HANKOOK DYNAPRO AT2
TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T III

Dont need 3pMSF rating. But could end up in light snow/ice on rare occasion in Illinois at wrong time of year so not a bad thing. Mostly southeast Louisiana. Had great experience with previous Michelin design 2008 vintage but Defender LTX MS 2017 vintage could not be balanced on my prev 2500

Any experience with the Bridgstones or Pirelli

Don't recall on Bridgestone, but seem to recall a few negative posts on Pirelli. Only personal experience was on my Audi A6 and they sucked.

Avoid em both, cooper discovey at3 is nice also the falken wildpeaks
Thanks - Not looking for extreme off road performance of Wildpeaks - mostly Highway / back roads - some off road but mostly dirt roads with some mud patches when it rains.
Can you be more specific on negatives of Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus and Bridgestone A/T Revo 3.
Reviews at Tire Rack for Bridgestone A/T Revo 3 looks good as well as the Cooper Discovery AT3.
The Cooper Discovery AT3 4S is still in the hunt as well as Michelin Defender LTX M/S - They served well except for extreme problem balancing - if you get a good set, they would be fine.

You might be thinking of the MT. The AT is pretty mild.

The wildpeaks at3 are less aggressive than the coopers….. i have always hated every bridgestone i have ever tried i wont even give them a second look now, and Pirelli got their name from racing tires where they should have stayed as they suck for any on road vehicle…..

If all you are doing is what you state the michelins should serve you well
