The wife is short and cannot get into the truck with the factory steps. I use a step stool for her. Does any body know of a Mfg. that makes a second (Lower) step add on.

Is she 3 feet tall? lol. Yes you can get a lower step, but not for the factory steps. You will need to purchase different steps.

No she’s 5 feet tall had two bouts of cancer and open heart surgery and has trouble getting into the truck.

I think somewhere out there I seen someone makes a double power step. Not AMP. Mybe someone knows or HOOGLE search should bring it up. Found it Aries Automotive :)

There are running boards with a “drop step” design that may be lower than the flat running boards. You would need to measure the existing boards distance from the ground to the step and compare.

Even if it is not much lower, the drop step is easier for people to use because it feels like a true step and not just a flat surface.

I have a 3500 Dually with drop steps and I have a 78 year old in my household. He has no problem getting in or out. It took a couple of times to understand what to grab and where to step out though.
