Before anyone reads this I completely understand I may not need to trim or mold anything. I am bored and just want to be as prepared as possible and when I get the tires on the wheel I want to run and gun and not find out then.

So, Monday ish my wheels will be delivered.
sometime next week tires will go on and mounted. Until then I have time to kill and want to be prepared.

Truck is a 2022 cc with a 6.4. Stock suspension. Currently running 20” night edition wheels on factory firestones. New set up will be method double standards with the 0 offset and will be wrapped in the Nitto recon 37/11.5/17. From what I understand if I would’ve went with my original plan of the cjc 315’s they should’ve cleared. But, I liked the 304’s better and with the offset I wanted not being in stock locally or online. I opted for the 0 offset on a 8.5” wheel. My understanding Is I may have to trim plastic or pinch weld.
So, my question is anyone have pictures of where to potentially trim so I can do that prior to putting on the wheels and tires. Plan is to use balance beads for the tires as well. I have time to kill and just want to be prepared for the potential of rubbing. I also may just end up molding via torch instead of cutting plastic.

Also, now, realizing that the zero offset is probably too aggressive of a trim job and may end up returning, I guess I will find out and keep y’all posted. Not that anyone asked

I think I’m going to try to fit 37x12.50s with “no lift” by pushing my axle forward 1”

I’ve got 37s on stock suspension and barely had to trim the fender liner and didn’t touch the pinch weld. My wheels have the same offset as yours. You may not need the radius arms.

Is that flexed out or just on pavement?

Contacted local place strapt performance about a 3” Thuren/fox front lift and 1” rear lift.
These lifts generally are way for improving suspension quality and ride. They don't change tire fitment because it compresses up to the same position as stock, which is good as that maximizes travel.

Fwiw 37x12.50s fit on my stock 3500 with a little trimming of the pinch weld. I heated and bent back the finder liner. No rubbing at full compression, but I haven't tested at all turning angles yet. +18mm offset wheels.

Well, I have been torn with what I want. Couldn’t decide on which wheel I wanted the 304 or 315.

So Saturday night I also bought the Method 315 straight from method with the +25/5.8 offset/backspacing. Had a discount of 25 or 30% I forgot which so ended up getting the lug nuts, machined finish enter caps and wheels for like just over 1200 before tax. If you’re a veteran and don’t have ExpertVoice I highly suggest it they have decent deals and promos.

I guess when they both come in I’ll see which I like the most, and require the least amount of trimming.

Both sets of wheels finally in after some shipping delay, wife wasn’t happy at all.. compromised on the 37’s for now and settled for 35” Toyo opencountry at3 and Disneyland tickets for the kids. Tires should be in tomorrow morning and on the new wheel’s tomorrow at 4pm.
