Ok I'm totally not sure what to do.... I am looking for a new 2500... Alot of the ones I have seen come with the off road package.. will those different shocks affect towing??? I'm thinking they will be a little softer, but just don't want to affect towing capacity or ride quality while towing? Thanks in advance. Bill

They will only help, not hurt. Shouldn’t have any measurable impact on your trucks capabilities. the Offroad package is a great value for what you get in it.
Adding options does lower payload so the skid plate or whatever comes with it may knock two dozen or so lbs off your payload.
