This stuff happens guy. Don’t sweat it, quick warranty job and you will be on your way.

You are correct this does happen and it is a easy fix. The problem is getting a new PCM to the dealer and there probably is a shortage with the recall. My truck is part of this recall and the PCM has been on order for 3 weeks, luckily I am not having any issues.

What's the last 6 of your VIN, curious when your truck was built? I have read of a few trucks having this same issue and all of them seem to be early 2022 models built in the later part of 2021.

My truck was built mid June 2022, the numbers of the VIN that are highlighted on the notice I received are NG286416. The recall number the dealer wanted is Z87 when I called to make an appointment.
