Mountain Brown/Light Frost Beige

Longer you wait the more in the shorts you'll take it on interest
If not done already...get pre-approval from your lender. I did. The rate I got was well below what the dealership was offering. Pre-approval loan was good for 90 days. If the dealer can beat it when it comes in, they will let you know.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure when I built it on the RAM website, it said mountain brown. never heard or seen the words Cattle tan when building it.

Maybe they changed the names. To protect the guilty. ;)

OK, just looked at my build sheet.
It states Leather Trimmed Bucket Seats Black/Mountain Brown

Ok, so comparing pictures, black/ mountain brown is what I have. Black edges, Mountain Brown seating area. Black dash and console.
The Mountain brown/ Frost beige is Mountain brown edges/Frost beige seating area. Mountain Brown dahs/console area.
Could be right, or I'm seeing the color wrong. It looks like my 1500 with cattle tan.

I didn't remember the brown and frost being an option when I spec'd mine, I went with indigo/frost to get all the light colored interior I could get. Maybe it was an option, maybe not since mine is a chassis cab truck. The brown/frost looks good, I would have been ok with it. I like the indigo/frost too though. Been a long time since I've had a blue interior but last one I had was an '83 Grand Prix that I had for 15 years so evidently I was ok with it! Funny side note, any 2 tone interiors drive my wife nuts for some reason. Neither one of us like black but she took black on her new car last year versus anything with 2 colors. I don't know how she stands to get in my truck:)

I took my rig in for an oil change a month ago to a local Dodge/Ram dealer. After the service tech took my keys and drove the truck to the service area, he came back with a large grin on his face. He said, "Is that a custom interior you have?" I said, "No. That's the Light Mountain Brown that one can order from the factory." He replied, "I've only ever seen the standard black/grey interiors. Yours is a beaut!"

Seemed strange to me that he had never seen anything other than black/grey, but there are stranger things in this world.

I've got the mountain brown / light beige on my 3500 longhorn DRW and then black on my 2500 limited. First, I think the mountain brown/light beige looks better in person than in pictures. In pictures, the light beige looks washed out. Looks 'richer' in person imo. The interior combo is very classy looking and feels more luxurious to me in that color combo than the all black. It also hides dust and dirt much better. We use the 3500 for towing our 42' horse trailer across the country to horse shows so we are always in and out of it in dusty and dirty places. At the end of a two week trip, it still looks clean. The black interior of the limited on the other hand shows every spec of dust and is a constant battle to keep clean (I'm a little OCD about it). The black interior lends a more sporty feel imo while the tan/beige is more "country" - I guess that's the point in having the Longhorn and Limited both available. My 2500 is my daily driver and spends a lot of time shuffling around town, while the 3500 is used exclusively for horse show trailer duty, so each interior fits the use of the vehicle. If I had to pick one for everything, I'd go with the mountain brown / light beige for the easier to keep looking clean factor and the fact that I think it has a bit more interest than the all black.

Same thing here. I had a recall done and the service writer said he hadn't seen one yet and really liked it.

To all those that have the mountain brown/light frost beige., if you put seat covers over the seats do you think it will stain or transfer the color from the cover to the light leather? I plan to cover them mainly during fall and winter for hunting season.

My 2022 Limted Longhorn is Mountain Brown / Light Mountain Brown. I am very happy with it, it looks classy and sharp.
I like it! I went with Limited for my own reason but I realy love the longhorn interiors. Limited only has black or beige/blue interior, I didn't want black interior

how has it been holding up? Is it easy to keep it clean?

It is easy, a wet sponge with a tiny bit of mild soap makes it as good as new. Some years down the road will probably start applying leather conditioner after cleaning.

Chiming in after what I thought was disaster. I have the light mountain brown seats. On my way into work a damn purple ink pen busted in my pocket and left a huge purple ink spot on my driver's seat.... I've made one payment!

While this isn't your normal clean up, I can say I'm surprised how well the seat recovered and no evidence of the cleaning. Overall it's held up to a trip from Oregon to North Carolina with 4 humans and 1 K9. Multiple food spills, a mystery green mark, and now purple ink.

In case anybody needs to know, alcohol takes ink out of leather. I didn't have proper rubbing alcohol on hand (isopropyl) so I used the hand sanitizer gel (ethyl) and it worked great. Maybe even better since the gel could sit on top and not run. 20220921_081803.jpg
