I have a 2022 2500 6.7 Cummins. It was regening a bunch so I brought it in to the dealer. They recommended an EGR clean out service so I did that ($700). Still was regening every 45-125 miles and then threw an engine code for regen freq. brought back to the dealer and after a week they replaced the mass air flow sensor. After doing the relearn process they took it for a test drive and the motor started squealing and knocking, metal shavings all in the oil filter. Dealer says I need a new motor and is working the claim. Pretty sure a lifter failed and burned out a bearing. Has anyone had this problem? Or had an experience with having a 6.7 replaced under warranty? Looking for an idea of a timeline of how long I might be without the truck and if the refurb motors they use wether short or long block are worth a damn.
