MOPAR Floor Mats...Do they let drivers carpet below the accelerator pedal get dirty?

I have a tan interior so my choice for all weather floor mats is limited to WeatherTech and MOPAR. I'd prefer MOPAR mats but I'm a little concerned that they are cut so low (lawyers cut) below the accelerator pedal. The whole reason that I'm purchasing all weather mats is to protect the carpet, and if MOPAR mats don't work well, I guess I'll need to go with WeatherTech. For those that have MOPAR's, has your carpet below the pedals stayed stain free?

I'm happy with my Mopar mats. They seem to cover the carpet well and are very rugged

I have a 2020 2500 and mopar mats and while the area beneath the gas pedal does not cover the carpet they still do a good job of keeping the carpet clean. Tan carpet might show dirt worse than black tho.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll order the Mopar mats. I've had many WeatherTech mats over the years and while they fit well etc. they're expensive and tough to keep clean. I also don't care for their design of directing water into the sill and down into the door seal. No matter how hard I scrub they never look like when they were new. My trucks are typically garage queens used for in town driving and camping for my wife and I. Protection from winter salt is my main goal.

The Husky X-act countour mats, by all reports, are far superior to the current Weathertech offerings.

Very pleased with mine. They don't go up as high in the rears as the Mopar matts, but there is coverage under the accel pedal.

I'm envious! I'd be all over those mats if they made tan or brown. For some reason Husky makes those only in black.

Ah, I missed that part. Then get the mopar and skip the weathertech. ETA:stupid autocorrect

Get some of that thin sticky carpet protector film to put under the pedal. Friend used that to cover the steps in his class a and changed it yearly. Always looked great. I think he eventually got some that was more durable.

That's a good idea on your friend. That's my only disappointment for these floor mats.

First thing I do with new vehicles is throw away the factory mats and install weather techs..but I really like the mopar ones that came on my 2020.

Just a side note about Husky customer support. I had reached out to Husky asking about tan liners for our trucks, and during email exchanges asked if they had any plans to introduce tan. The Husky Engineering Manager was kind enough to reach out with an email for their reasoning etc. (which makes sense - there just are not that many trucks with brown carpeting). Super good customer service which we all know is not always the case these days!

You can send them to me! I had weathertechs in my last truck. We have mostly clay and limestone where I live and it impregnates into the plastic so they always look dirty. Even with pressure washing. I've decided to run OEM carpet mats and replace every few years. At least those can go in the washing machine.

Same experience for me. Something happens to WeatherTechs and they won't clean up like new again.
