I had couple bad experiences with mopar express lane. I went to one local dealer and they told me it's about two hours wait and it's better if I make an appointment. Said they are very busy today. Okay I understand. Went to another dealer few weeks later same answer. Second dealer told me this in not working and that Chrysler forced them to put those signs there but they don't offer express lanes. To me this is false advertising cause every local dealer tells me same thing. So my question is do any of you used the mopar express lane? And did they stick to their motto

It is a scam, same issue here for me, so when i use them for my oils changes since free in my deal i just head down early to beat the lines. I have tried 3 locations near me and make no difference. First come first served

I never though "dealer" and "express" fit together...
or dealer and realistic prices :), the fact that they wanted $200 labor to change fuel filters that took me between 15 - 20 minutes and the fuel filters are costing different prices at different dealers! all of which more expensive than elsewhere

I had some issues getting service when I first bought my truck, and in talking to the service manager at my local dealership (which is fairly high volume) I heard some things that made me cringe. The way the industry has gone, dealerships don't have to win service business because you are often forced to use them. The most troubling thing I heard from him was that Ram cut the standard rental coverage for warranty repairs from 10 to 5 days. He acted very put out over it, and said Ram was trying to screw either him or us over. I called him out on the reality, that Ram is pulling the only levers it can to get dealerships to stop piling up 3 weeks of warranty work on the back lot while customers without options are out of a vehicle. In other words, try to be like other shops that don't have a captive audience. I don't think he expected someone who knew what they were talking about (I used to put on business workshops for boat dealers when I worked in that industry) and the subject changed very quickly.

Express Lane sounds like another lever Ram is pulling to drag dealers towards better customer service. Some will take advantage, some will not and guess who they will tell you is to blame?
