Good morning all!

I plan to do a little road trip at the end of November. One stop will be in Moab. I would like to find some trails to run and do some site seeing while in the area. I will be in my 2022 2500 Cummins, thuren level and 36's. So not a wild build by any means, just a little better then stock. I have looked up a few places on my X off-road app. but I would like to hear from the community that has been out that way and done some of the trails themselves. I appreciate any and all advice. Thanks!

I have never been on those trails, but I have driven through Moab. Have fun and please post plenty of pictures of you rig and the trails!

I am sitting in our RV in Moab as I type this. I’ve seen these trails while hiking. The only trail I will be taking our 3500 HO Cummins Limited Dually on will be the one to the Jeep rental location.

I've been to Moab a bunch, but it's been in my Bronco. There are lots of great trails you could run in a HD Ram. I'd suggest ordering this book as it gives great trail info with difficulty ratings. I think you'd be fine in your truck doing any of the easy and moderate trails. Possibly even some of the difficult trails. One trail that would be fun and a bit of a challenge is Tower Arch. The trail is in Arches National Park and takes you to a couple of different Arches that are off the beaten path = less crowds.

You can drive all over the blm roads, you probably can't do the jeep trails like fins n things or the other popular offroad "rock crawling" spots, but there are plenty of offroad high clearance spots to hit -- try to never go anywhere you don't feel comfortable, try to go in a group, and bring multiple methods of self-recovery (winch, straps, etc)

So many fun trails in Moab! Be sure to hit Moab brewery while in town.

Good advice on that book. They’ve helped me
Tons over the years - but I prefer the app. It’s always in my pocket.

Off the top of my head Long's Canyon and Chicken Corners should be good with your truck, and are quite scenic. I'm sure there's more difficult ones that would be doable as well.

Shafer switchbacks for sure, heading up from the potash mine. Personally I'd go up rather than down given the weight of these trucks.

White Rim road maybe if you are looking for a long adventure. Don't get stranded out there or you will be calling Rory..

Onion Creek is a simple trail that heads up to the mountains if you are looking to go sight seeing up that way.

I've heard Top of the World has gotten easier, but I haven't been up there in years. Well worth the view.

Seven Mile Rim might be doable too and is a lot of fun. I'd check the guide books to see the current conditions.

And third'd on Funtreks - OnX is great but having a copy of the Funtreks book is your absolute best bet.

Looking at purchasing the book to study before the trip, and to have in the truck for reference points. I appreciate all the suggestions so far. Looking forward to a fun trip
