With just under 50,000 miles, the Cooper AT3 XLT tires still had some tread left but had ZERO traction on wet asphalt. I have also had hell balancing them and they developed abnormal wear for the last 20ish thousand miles. So I decided to replace them before the big freeze event here in Central Texas. Decided to try the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T in 295/70-18 (same size as the Coopers I had). So far, I have been very pleased with how quiet they are (for an agressive AT) and how well they performed on ice/snow. We shall see how they wear in the long term.
