I’ve been looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja boss a/t. The only problem I find with them is the weight and possible decrease in gpm. I have a buddy at work get them and hasn’t noticed a change in his gpm but he also drives a 1/2 ton. Does anyone have any experience with them on their 2500 or 3500?

That’s what I was thinking, but they are 25lbs a piece more than the stock transforce tires though.

I put them on my Power Wagon and so far I like them. 35x12.50R17.
As far as MPG, it's hard to tell. I installed them shortly before moving out of Kali. Better gas in Nevada? Slower speeds because of where I live? I don't know. But my MPG is better.

I've had them about 2 years. Been a great tire. I was looking at them the other day, tread still looks good. I did lose about 3 mpg on the highway. Oddly my towing mpg didn't seem to change much. Mine are 295 something 18. I probably won't get them again because I lost my muddy deer lease.

They are a very heavy tire. Made in USA. Looks sweet.

I know this is an old thread but I just put these on my power wagon (35x12.50r17). Unfortunately they don't have an E-rated version, only D. Tire max pressure = 50psi, door jamb recommendation is 60/65 psi (front/rear). Had them put on today, got home and saw the shop pumped them up to vehicle spec...I lowered to max psi. Is any of this a significant concern? Feeling like I should have just stuck with the tried-&-true KO2's....

There is an E-rated version of this tire - its sized in metric: 315/70 R17 (which is basically a 35 x 12.5). I have these tires on my Power Wagon, and I think they are better than KO2s (which I continue to run on two midsize Toyota 4x4s).

Here is a screenshot of the 315/70 R17. According to the MT website, this version is replacing the 35x12.5 version. You can find the full specs here: https://www.mickeythompsontires.com/light-truck-tires/baja-boss-a-t

This is really good info, thank you. Seems most like the Baja's over the KO2's, which is why I went that direction.

Not much I can do about it now...stuck with my decision for the next 50K(ish) miles. I'm an idiot...

If you bought them at Discount Tire, and it hasn't been more than a few days, you can take them back and swap for the E-rated version...

Maybe this has been asked before, I'm new, I have a 2019 Powerwagon with a front 1.5" Truxxx level kit. Can I put 37's on my stock wheels, with minimal rubbing?? Especially Maxxis Razr AT's because I've read there smaller 37's. I have 35's on there now and they look so small. Thanks.
