Been to dealership 3 times and the last time the mechanic said to keep driving until noise got worse. It gets quieter when the engine warms up. Looks like it can't be diagnosed until it breaks down. Has anyone else had this problem? Been out of work for 3 weeks due to truck being at dealership.

I'd be taking the belt off and seeing if it still makes the noise and if not then its been seriously narrowed down.

Thanks I'll tell my mechanic, I've got someone working on it. I've already had the belt tensioner, belt, a/c compressor changed, I even tried putting a little grease on the belt. Hope I get a fix soon or I'll be broke.
