Megacab behind rear-seat compartment

Does anyone know what is inside this plastic cover? It sounds hollow when I knock on it. I was wondering if it is a good place to install on board air compressor.

If that's the passenger side it s the subwoofer.

Does it matter what sound system I have or it is always the case with subwoofer inside that box? I mean there two types of sound systems in 5th gen ram.

Both the Alpine and HK system has a sub.

Have ya looked under the drivers side rear compartment? There's a hole there that might work for a small compressor.

There are 3 systems base, alpine and HK if you have the base 6speaker setup you dont have a sub
