Matt’s 2025 Tradesmann Build Thread

Picked up my 25 Tradesman on Monday and figured I’d do a build thread to track progress. This will be slow going, but I have some cosmetic and mechanical plans.

Planned:
- Delete chrome
- Sport hood
- Clearance lights
- Fuel rims
- Oil undercoat (I live in Pittsburgh)
- TBD on suspension. Depends on the size of camper I get.
- Eventual exhaust modification (no rush as I like having a warranty for a while)

Starting with the cheap items I ordered most of the decals in black. Can’t wait to see how this comes together. Loving the truck so far.

Minor changes. Black badges and oil undercoat.

If anyone is looking to replace badges, an eraser wheel is your friend. The tailgate adhesive was very thick and tough to get off. A little heat and an eraser wheel took it off completely in less than 10 minutes.
Also, if you're in the Pittsburgh area, I recommend checking out Steel City Undercoating. They use a fluid film type (might even be the brand) of coating. They do great work.

Next up I think are clearance lamps\rims and tires.
