Run 1 ton rack bodies, and two/3 axle cdl equiptment at work. More often than not, they are abused, not just used. I cringe at the "maintenance" I've seen at most companies.

So, although I have years of running diesels I am pretty clueless to maintenance schedule. What are they for a '22 ram 3500 srw SO cummins? Any good place to get digital copies of them from ram?

As for cold weather, whats everyone running for fuel additive? Anything to stay away from or that could hem you up as far as warranty?

Right now I'm in the north east and it is finally starting to feel like winter. At what temperature do you all plug your rigs in? I have one buddy that has never plugged his in. Another friend plugs his in regularly and never uses the remote start in the winter bc he thinks it could damage his engine due to not coming up to temperature before firing it up.

My remote start still does a pre heat....no worries there...I only plug in if below 0°....use hotshots secret edt every tank and below 10° add the gel additive....

No fuel additive- it comes with the Diesel, they blend it at the gas station to make winter Diesel. Sometimes you see stickers at the pump informing you about the additive they mix in.
I plug in below 20F, it does not hurt anything, except a few cents on the electric bill. Added a timer controlled outlet outside my garage. Usually 3 hrs before I leave.
Running the grille cover November - March here in the "arctic"
Seeing a lot of Diesel truck owners idle the truck for 5 minutes before they leave the parking lot at work. I usually step in the truck, start the engine and leave within 5 seconds of starting.
Idling the Diesel in the cold is not required. Might not even be recommended by Cummins if I remember correct.
