I've found a great deal on LT275 70 R18 All Terrain Tires. Has anyone mounted this size on a 9" wheel? The tire specs show up to 8.5" wheel, but other tires of the same size list up to 9" wheels. Wondering if I would have an issue?

Thank you.

I currently have that on a 9.5” wide, the guys at discount tire said that’s definitely the widest they can mount that tire on.

Any issues and do you tow or load up the truck?

No issues yet, but no tow yet either, gone around some hard corners... not gonna lie, I Puckered a little bit on the first corner. I watched them mount the tires, cause they went let you in the stores right now and they seated easily, so I am not too worried. The only reason I had them mount that tire is because it is the stock tire and I wanted to use them up. I will be going to 315/70r18 once I wear out the stockers.

I just got new 18x9 wheels and had my 275/70/18 Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo3 's installed on them. Bridgestone says 8.5" rim width, but Discount Tire said it would be fine. Only had about 5k miles on them, so i didn't want to have to get new tires. Have not towed yet.

Stretched tires might be cool (to some) on a slammed rice burner or Golf, but towing with them might be a little sketchy.

Have 275 70 18’s on my 18x10’s wasn’t a rough install and balanced great.
