Help Please... My 2021 mega cab 2500 4x4. Stock width is 10.8" with the 275/70/18 TransTrash Firestone. The Toyo Open Country AT III (The tire and size I Want) 305/65/18 the width is 12.0" Thats only 1.2 inch wider than the stock tire. My question is anyone running a 305/65/18 on their stock 18x8" rims ?? Comments, concerns, problems Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Depends on the tire shop, I had that same tire and the shops I contacted refused to mount it on my stock 8” wheel :(

Can't give any advice on running that combo as I went to wider aftermarket wheels, but Toyo recommends those be installed on rims between 9 and 11 inches wide, so most of the bigger tire shops are going to say nope. You may be able to find a smaller independent shop that would do it, but hopefully others will be along to report their experience actually running that combo.

I'm currently on 305/70/18 chinese mud tires on stock tradesman 18x8's. Minor rub at full lock. It's doable for sure. 20k on them so far (already wearing out, thanks to junk tires). Soon to be replaced with aftermarket wheels.
