Lowering of front axle

This could be a dumb question, I am back and forth if I want to do my leveling kit myself and save some money, or take it into a shop.

Only issue is I don’t have a floor jack. Would I be able to control the lowering of the front axle with the bottle jack that comes with truck? I would use two bottle jacks.

Looking for serious answers, not ignorance.

I would highly recommend some nice jack stands and a long travel floor jack of sufficient capacity. To free the coil springs and install a new lift springs requires dropping the axle quite far, could be outside the range of the 'bottle jack'

I have a good floor jack but borrowed one more and a pair of 6T jack stands, to support the truck behind the radius arms.

It was not difficult and did not take long, but these trucks are heavy and having two jacks helped to manipulate the front axle to get everything back together. You have to drop the axle pretty far to get springs in - especially if Carli or Thuren because their unloaded length is pretty long.

I had to disconnect brake line brackets, breather hose, and axle disconnect harness but nothing else. Carli track bar stayed connected.
