We purchased a new Grand Designs 295RL 5th Wheel.
It has a fixed pinbox with no warranted replacement other than a Gen Y gooseneck.
We have a BW Companion hitch set at its lowest setting.
The camper rides well above the rails ~7.5" but I can't lower at the hitch or pin-box.
It is sitting un-level 4" lower at the rear. Lippert will void the frame warranty if the camper is lifted.
The only option I see is switch to a Gen-Y gooseneck but even that wouldn't completely level it out.
Is there any way to lower a 3500 with leaf spring suspension?
I wish the manufacturers wouldn't keep making these blasted trucks taller and taller for no reason.
