Lower grill replacement?

Had a car in front of me kick up a piece of metal that smacked the lower grill insert on my '22 Limited. I think I found the part on eBay but was curious if anyone knew how these pop in? Does the whole bumper need to come off and then this pops in from behind, or is it as simple as pulling it out forward and snapping the new one in?

I replaced the lower grill insert on my 2020 Big Horn. Mine was damaged and I was installing a hidden winch so I actually just ordered the Power Wagon insert and I'm running that. The lower grill is held on by a bunch of small bolts clamping it in place on the inside. You'll need an 8mm wrench and a ton of patience, it can be removed without taking the bumper off the truck but I ended up giving up and taking it off for convenience. Some of the bolts are behind the mounting plates that secure the bumper to the frame so they're hard to get at.
