I have a 2023 Ram 2500 diesel, and I had to drive through about a foot of water. After I arrived at my destination, I noticed that my lower charge air cooler shroud was broken on one side and was hanging down. I had to remove the shroud to be able to drive it, and I was wondering if I needed to replace it immediately or if it was something that could wait for a little while. It is number 15 in the photo.

Had to trim mine to fit a 20 inch light bar. Been driving like this for 10k miles with no issues. I wouldn't worry about it

I am not sure why the water would do this, either. I noticed it hanging down after driving through the water.

That cowling is pretty flimsy. Wouldn't be surprised driving through flood water at a decent speed could tear it apart

Maybe a semi submerged item (log) in the water hit it?
